Prior to Hartford, Coyle received her Masters of education in athletic administration from William Woods University, while serving as a graduate assistant softball coach from 2010-2012. As an undergrad, she earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science from the University of Maine, and was a four-year starter for the Black Bear softball team from 2006-2010.

Coyle and her husband, Tommy, reside in Milford, N.H. with their two daughters.
