AS A JUNIOR: Played in all 32 matches (117 games), started 30 • Named to the NE-10 All-Conference First-Team • Named to the AVCA All-East Region team • Three-time NE-10 Player of the Week (8/31, 9/14, 10/12) • Registered team-highs with 410 kills and 99 total blocks • Ranked third in the NE-10 in kills per game (3.50) and hitting percentage (.325) • Recorded 23 games with 10 or more kills, four games with 20 or more • Had a season-high 24 kills in a 3-1 win vs. Merrimack (9/29) • Tallied 18 kills and 17 digs in a 3-2 win vs. Franklin Pierce (8/29) • Had a season-high eight blocks (2 solo, 6 assists) in a 3-0 win vs. Saint Anselm • Recorded back-to-back games of 20 or more kills at Stonehill (10/7) and Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (10/10) • Named to the NE-10 Fall and Spring 2009 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in 30 matches (117 games) • Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll three times • Season-highs include 27 kills in a 3-2 loss at Southern Connecticut; 11 digs in a 3-0 sweep over American International; and six blocks in a 3-0 win over Seton Hill • Also a thrower on UMass Lowell's track and field team.
AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 31 of 34 matches (90 games) in 2007 • Season-highs include 14 kills and four blocks in a 3-0 win at Saint Michael's; and three aces in a 3-2 loss at Bridgeport.
PITTSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL: 2005, 2006 Berkshire County Most Valuable Player at Berkshire High School for coach Brian Lawton • Led PHS to 2006, 2007 Berkshire County championships • Graduated with High Honors and Advanced Placement Honors • Placed first in the 2007 MCIA Computer Programming Competition • Member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Greg Coscia and Liz Coscia of Pittsfield, MA • Has three younger siblings • Lists the Boston Red Sox and Bruins, as well as New England Patriots as her favorite professional sports teams • Names swimmer Aaron Peirsol and Jason Varitek as her favorite athletes.
