Sean Cotter, first-year head coach of the UMass Lowell softball program, has announced a series of hitting and pitching clinics beginning Oct. 26 through Dec. 3.

The UMass Lowell Fall ’09 Pitching Clinic runs on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Oct. 26 through Dec. 2 with two sessions per night. Monday sessions are scheduled from 6:30-7:30 and 7:30 to 8:30.

Sessions continue on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 and 7:00 to 8:00. Admission for one session per week is $140 or $225 for two sessions per week.

The clinics, open to girls aged 12-18, are limited to 10 players per week.

The UMass Lowell Fall ’09 Hitting, Short Game and Baserunning Clinic is slated for Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 3.

The sessions run from 5:00 to 6:30 and again from 6:45 to 8:15 on both nights. Admission for one session per week is $125 or $200 for two sessions per week.

The clinics are open to girls aged 13-18 and are limited to 25 players per session.

Both the pitching and hitting clinics will be conducted in Mahoney Gymnasium on UMass Lowell’s South Campus and conducted by Cotter and his staff as well as several players.
