Sean Cotter, first-year head coach of the UMass Lowell softball program, has announced the 2010 Softball All-Skills Camps slated for the school vacation weeks of Feb. 15-18 (Massachusetts) and 22-25 (New Hampshire).
For both weeks, Session I will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for players aged 7-12 while Session II will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for players aged 13-18.
Admission is $100 for the week. The camps will be conducted by the UMass Lowell softball staff of Cotter, as well as assistant coaches Kristen Mahoney, Danielle Mason and James Cardello and several members of the 2010 River Hawk squad.
The camps, to be held at Mahoney Gymnasium on UMass Lowell's South Campus, will stress all the intangibles of the game as well as the mental approach.
Those interested are encouraged to register by Monday, Feb. 8. There will be a limit of 30 players per session.
