AS A JUNIOR: Northeast-10 Conference Second Team all-star • Led UMass Lowell to seven shutouts in 2010 • Starter in all 18 matches • NE-10 Fall '10 and Spring '11 Commissioner's Honor Roll • Dean's List.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw action in 20 matches with six starts • Helped the UMass Lowell defense to a school record 14 shutouts, including 12 straight • Northeast-10 Conference Fall '09 and Spring '10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN: Played in all 18 games, making 16 starts for the River Hawks • Tallied two goals on the year • First collegiate points came on Sept. 6 in a 2-2 tie at Stonehill.
WAKEFIELD MEMORIAL H.S.: Played varsity soccer at Wakefield Memorial High School • Served as team captain • Three-time Middlesex League All-Star • Eastern Massachusetts All-Star selection • Also ran indoor and outdoor track at WMHS • Holds school record for indoor track's 4x400m event • Member of National Honor Society and high honors student at WMHS.
PERSONAL: One of five daughters of Margie and Bill Merullo of Wakefield, Mass • Older sisters Ella ('11) and Celia ('08) also former River Hawk women's soccer players while sister, Sarah ('06) a former member of the cross country and track and field teams • Lists Tito Ortiz, Forrest Griffin and Kenny Florian as her favorite athletes • Majoring in criminal justice.
