AS A JUNIOR: Named Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 12 after making a defensive save at American International on Oct. 7 and helping the River Hawk Defense to only allow 11 shots on goal during a two-game span Started all 24 games for the River Hawks, notching a pair of goals and three assists for seven points on the year Made a team-best four defensive saves during the 2009 season. AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in all 25 games Tallied two assists on the year. AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 16 of 22 games on the year and made three starts. CHELMSFORD HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity field hockey player for coach Maura Devaney at Chelmsford High School Senior captain of the field hockey team Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star her sophomore year Merrimack Valley All-Conference honoree her junior and senior seasons Team Most Valuable Player her senior year Played for the Cape Ann Coalition for two years Played in the "Best of 60" game in 2007 Also played basketball and lacrosse and ran track Received High Honors and Dean's List honors all four years at CHS.
