The UMass Lowell women look to avenge a 60-59 loss to Saint Michael's in the season-opener Nov. 18 in Colchester, VT. A victory would also go a step further in slidifying home court advantage for the first round of the NE-10 Tournament.

Additionally, Head Coach Kathy O'Neil, with 398 career victories, looks for No. 399 against her alma mater. She earned No. 398 Saturday as five players - led by 15 points from Jen Valente - scored in double digits to turn back Southern Connecticut in overtime, 72-66, in New Haven, CT.

On the men's side, UMass Lowell goes for its first sweep of the season as it defeated the Purple Knights on Nov. 18, 67-52, behind 19 points from Kyle Caiola. The River Hawks are fresh off a 73-54 win at Southern Connecticut Saturday behind 18 points from Caiola.

UMass Lowell returns home Saturday - in celebration of Women's Basketball Alumni Day as well as Head Coach Kathy O'Neil's 25th season - to host Stonehill College (women 1:00, men 4:30).
