O'NEIL ON CALVER: "Brianna is a floor general who likes to distribute the basketball. She has a nice touch from the perimeter. 'Bri' is quick and anticipates well on defense." SHELBY HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity basketball at Shelby High School • Three-time all-league selection and member of three league championship teams • Served as team captain for one year • All-Ohio honorable mention and two-time all-district honoree • Broke school records for most assists and three-pointers made in a single season and during her career • Also played for the SMAC club team out of Cleveland. PERSONAL: From Shelby, Ohio • Has two brothers, Josh and Trey • Lists the Cleveland Cavaliers as her favorite professional team and Candace Parker and Ray Allen as her favorite athletes • Majoring in education with aspirations to become a first grade teacher and coach a high school basketball team. |
