The UMass Lowell men’s track and field team runs in the St. Valentine’s Day Invitational this afternoon at Boston University’s Track and Tennis Center, following a stellar showing by the River Hawk women Friday.

UMass Lowell’s women’s 4X400 meter relay team placed first and enhanced it chances for an NCAA Tournament with a time of 3:50.24, currently the eighth-fastest result in the country.

Also highlighting the day was UMass Lowell’s men’s distance medley relay team which placed third in 9:59.63, currently the seventh fastest result in the country.
