The UMass Lowell River Hawks (2-0, 1-0 NE-10) are set to host the Caldwell College Cougars (0-1, 0-0 CACC North) in a non-conference tilt at 5:00 p.m. in Costello Gym.
The River Hawks are coming off a 67-52 victory at Saint Michael's College in the Northeast-10 opener on Wednesday and are led by NE-10 Player of the Week Kyle Caiola (Parma, OH) who is averaging a conference-best 22.5 points per game.
Caldwell fell to Le Moyne, 63-48, and through the first contest are led by Nik Otovic (Kraljevo, Serbia), who tallied 15 points and went 5 for 12 from the floor in the game.
This is the first meeting between the teams in program history.
