UMass Lowell Men's Basketball 6th Man Club will host the Hawk-Husky Reception prior to the UMass Lowell-University of Connecticut exhibition on Sunday, Nov. 8 at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, CT.

The reception will take place in Room 331 of UConn's Student Union Ballroom - located across the street from Gampel Pavilion - from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will feature a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres, followed by the game at 1:00.

The game marks the second meeting in as many years between the two teams as the Huskies prevailed last year 82-63, in front of a crowd of 11,113, at the XL Center in Hartford. This year, the teams will stay on campus and play at UConn's storied Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.

"Obviously we are very excited to play UConn for the second year in a row," head coach Greg Herenda said.

"I hope we will have our students and our alums follow us to Storrs. It will be a great day and I hope we will have a big contingent of River Hawk fans behind us."
