UMass Lowell Basketball High School Coaches Clinic Registration Form

River Hawk head men's basketball coach Greg Herenda will host the First Annual UMass Lowell Basketball High School Coaches Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 31, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Costello Gymnasium.

Local high school coaches are invited to join Herenda and his assistants Marc Kuntz and Josh King for a River Hawk practice, chalk talk, video session and lunch.The clinic will give high school coaches an opportunity to see how UMass Lowell conducts practice, as well as get some ideas on how to incorporate new drills into their own season.

"I hope that we have a great turnout," Herenda said. "Our clinic will be a great opportunity for high school coaches to learn some new drills and to get an up-close look at our players and just how hard they work."

The day will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. before introductions and practice preview at 9:45. Practice will start at 10:00, and coaches will be invited to a 12:00 lunch and post-practice chalk talk and video session at 12:30 p.m.

The clinic costs $20 per coach or $25 per coaching staff. A printable registration form is available via a link at the top of this release. Registration is also available the morning of the clinic.

"This is also a chance for me to get to know more of the area coaches and share some time with them on our floor," Herenda said. "I am looking forward to learning just as much as the coaches coming to the clinic."
