UMass Lowell River Hawk fans are encouraged to wear white to Wednesday’s basketball double-header against Saint Michael’s College and Saturday’s hockey match against defending National Champion Boston University as part of the White-Out Week promotion. Fans that sport their white gear will be entered in special contests and have chances to win cash and other prizes.

The women’s and men’s basketball teams will take on the Purple Knights of Saint Michael’s College on Wednesday at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively, at Costello Gymnasium. One lucky fan that wears white will have the chance to win $10,000 in a shootout at halftime of the second game.

On Friday, the hockey team will take on the BU Terriers at 7:30 p.m., where there will be a cash giveaway courtesy of NMTW Community Credit Union and the Creature Teachers Traveling Zoo will be in the lobby of the Tsongas Center.

One fan at each event will also win a Suppa’s Super Bowl Pizza Party, donated by Suppa’s Pizza & Subs. The campus favorite will cater a party for 10, delivered to your dorm on Super Bowl Sunday.

Come out and support your River Hawks and don’t forget to wear white!
