The UMass Lowell Men’s Basketball Alumni Game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Costello Athletic Center. The game will be part of a day full of events for former River Hawk basketball players and will not only include the game, but also lunch, a Northeast-10 matchup with Merrimack and a post-game social. “The alumni game is always a special time of year for all of our alums and our whole program,” head coach Greg Herenda said. “We are here with open arms to honor our alums. To be playing Merrimack that day will make the event even more special.” The day will begin with the alumni game at noon, followed by a catered lunch at Costello Athletic Center at 1:00 p.m. The River Hawks take on the Warriors of Merrimack College at 4:00 p.m. in one of the final home games of the regular season and a post-game social will follow. “Last year’s game and activities were a huge success and this year, I am sure it will be the same,” Herenda said. “Our entire staff, our players and our university are looking forward to February 13.” Please call or e-mail Josh King in the basketball office with any questions: (978) 934-2135 or joshua_king@uml.edu(.) |
