The Blue Fan Group’s mission is to promote and build school spirit on campus by sponsoring campus wide events, which encourage the University community to attend and create/uphold school traditions. Campus groups compete for the River Hawk Spirit Challenge, which awards $1,000 for charity and includes dinner for the winners at the Chancellor's house! Exciting events are held throughout the year – including Hockey First Night, Homecoming, and River Hawk Service Week. If you’re ready to get involved with school spirit, email the Spirit Coordinator at spirit@uml.edu and we'll get you plugged into all the fun and excitement! The Annual Spirit Day will be held each year as a lead-in to the first home hockey game. Spirit Day this year is October 24. More details to come. |
