LOWELL, MASS. -- Voting for the fifth and final period of "All-Era" teams, covering 2007 through present day players, is now underway as the celebration of 50 years of history for the UMass Lowell Hockey season continues all season long.
The announcement of the All-Era Team from 1997-2007 team was made Monday, a team that would be commemorated on the fourth Pint Glass, sponsored by Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, to be given away Friday, January 27 vs. Northeastern.

Voting for this era, which will be celebrated with a Pint Glass Giveaway Saturday, February 11, featuring the current style "UMass Lowell" across the chest blue jersey in addition to the team honorees, will run through Monday, December 12, with the winning honorees announced later that day.
This era celebrates the most successful era of Division I hockey at Lowell, including two Hockey East Championships and four NCAA tournament appearances. There are four goalies on the ballot, highlighting just how successful the program has been over the last decade.
Among the candidates are goalies Connor Hellebuyck, Carter Hutton,
Kevin Boyle and Doug Carr, as well as NHL defensemen Chad Ruhwedel and Christian Folin. Up front, Stanley Cup Champion Scott Wilson is joined by 100 point scorers abound, including recent "Legends of Lowell" inductee Kory Falite. Current River Hawks

Joe Gambardella are all included, as they continue to compile stats for the 6th ranked River Hawks.

"We certainly expect this edition of voting to be the most contentious, as we recognize some of the most successful Division I alumni, at least from an overall team perspective," said Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions
Jon Boswell. "Fans have been phenomenal in their participation thus far and we can't wait to see the results of this final round of voting."
The culmination of voting will result in the creation of five "All-Era" teams, each which will be commemorated on a collector's edition series of five pint glasses, in conjunction with Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union.
The pint glasses will feature an etching of a hockey jersey from the period and the voted members of the team. At a selected River Hawks home game during each month of the season, the first 1,000 fans will receive the collector's edition glasses, courtesy of JDCU.
Voting is now open, with fans having a chance to enter to win a full set of the collector's glasses for voting.
