LOWELL, Mass. -- Single game tickets for the 2015-16 River Hawk Hockey season are on sale now at the Tsongas Center Box Office. Tickets to UMass Lowell's 18 home games are available for purchase online at www.GoRiverHawks.com/buytickets, by phone at 866-722-8780, or in person at the Tsongas Center Box Office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Group discounts for as low as $5 per ticket are also available and can be purchased by contacting Jocelyn Prieto at 978-934-5751 or Jocelyn_Prieto@uml.edu.
 
UMass Lowell Hockey will once again host several exciting promotional activities throughout the 2015-16 season, including the annual "Break the Record Night" at the home opener against RPI on Friday, October 9. There will be a rally towel giveaway courtesy of Jeanne d'Arc Credit Union for the first 2,500 fans in attendance along with the UMass Lowell students attempting to surpass last year's student attendance record of 2,365.
 
On Friday, October 16 UMass Lowell will recognize its newest Chancellor, Jacquie Moloney by attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Record for the most glow sticks lighted simultaneously. All fans will receive a blue glow stick and are encouraged to participate in the attempt.
 
River Hawk Homecoming will feature a blue out against Hockey East foe Merrimack College on Saturday, October 24. The first 6,000 fans in attendance will receive a blue t-shirt. To check out all the events that will be happening on campus Homecoming weekend you can visit www.uml.edu/homecoming.
 
Saturday, November 21 will be Country Fest at the Tsongas Center featuring Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly when the River Hawks host Notre Dame for a 7 p.m. puck drop. Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly have been featured as support acts for Keith Urban, Eric Church, Brad Paisley and many other big name country artists. They will be performing throughout the game.
 
The team's annual Pucks and Paws Night will take place on Sunday, December 6. All dogs in attendance will receive a UMass Lowell dog collar.
 
Second half highlights include Star Wars Night, January 23 against Providence, River Hawk Strong Night, January 29 against Arizona State, and Military Appreciation Night on February 6 against New Hampshire.
