LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Hockey Head Coach
Norm Bazin has announced the addition of Ronald Grove to his staff as the River Hawks' equipment manager.
Grove's responsibilities will include oversee all equipment operations for men's ice hockey which include maintenance, inventory and transportation of all equipment, locker room preparation and the ordering of new equipment and supplies.
The Hampstead, N.H. native spent the last three seasons as the Visiting Team Locker Room Assistant with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL). At his position, he assisted in the game day operations of the visitor's locker room and bench, including sharpening skates, loading equipment on and of the bus, patching and sewing of jerseys and assisting the visiting team equipment staff as needed.

Norm Bazin. "He brings an excellent work ethic coupled with strong communication skills to the equipment manager position."
In addition to his work with the Monarchs, Grove worked as a Hockey Skate Repair Technician at Monkey Sports Superstore in Derry, N.H.

Grove graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management.
