Lowell, Mass. - As Homecoming weekend approaches, UMass Lowell athlete alumni have a number of events to participate in. Homecoming will take place from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25. The events take place around the men's ice hockey program taking on Merrimack at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Athlete Alumni Reunion
All former student-athletes and supporters of UMass Lowell athletics can reminisce with former teammates, players and coaches at the Athlete Alumni Reunion taking place in the Club Rooms of the Tsongas Center one hour prior to the hockey game. The cost to attend the Athlete Alumni Reunion is $15 and includes food at the reception and a donation to UMass Lowell Athletics. Alumni will get to hear from Director of Athletics, Dana Skinner, on the transition to full Division I status as the department is in the third year of a four-year transition and an update on the overall department.

Cross Country, Track & Field Alumni
Fans, alumni and supporters are welcome to run in the 17^th annual Jennifer's Run which benefits the Jennifer D'Amour Scholarship Foundation and is in memory of UMass Lowell alumna, Jennifer D'Amour. Registration for the race starts at 9 a.m. and the race will kick-off at 11 a.m. The entry fee for the race is $20. Following the race, alumni and fans are invited into the Tsongas Center lobby for the awards ceremony and in the Talon Club of the Tsongas Center there will be a reception to honor the Thomas Chamberas '86 Runners Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund following the awards.

Hockey Alumni
For hockey alumni, there will be a full day of hockey alumni events on Saturday including an alumni game on the ice of the Tsongas Center and Riley Reunion following the game. For the first year, there will be a kids game where hockey alumni are encouraged to bring their families and have their future River Hawks play in a game before the alumni hit the ice. The night will also include the induction of four Legends of Lowell including: Mike McElligott '72, Mike Geragosian '75, Steve Woods '75 and Brian Doyle '80.

Softball Alumni
At 11 a.m. , softball alumni are invited to River View Field to play in the alumni game. Following the alumni game, the group will head to lunch and then enjoy Homecoming activities at Hawkey Way. The alumni game is free to play in and the reunion is $40, which includes a t-shirt, lunch, a ticket to the hockey game and a donation to softball.

On Sunday, both field hockey and women's soccer alumni will have their reunions at Cushing Field Complex.

Field Hockey Alumni
Field Hockey Alumni are invited to come celebrate the 5 and 10 year anniversaries of the '05 and '10 National Championship teams at Wicked Blue Field. The reunion will include an alumni game and tailgate following the field hockey game vs. Vermont at 1 p.m. The reunion costs $25 to attend and includes the tailgate and a donation to field hockey. It is also senior day at the game and will recognize the seniors on the team.

Women's Soccer Alumni
Before the women's soccer team takes on Hartford at 4 p.m., alumni are invited to play in an alumni game and reminisce with former teammates and coaches at a pre-game tailgate. The reunion costs $25 and includes the tailgate and a donation to women's soccer.
