LOWELL, Mass. -- The UMass Lowell Athletic Marketing department has released its promotional schedule for the remainder of the 2014 calendar year as the hockey team preps for River Hawk Homecoming this weekend.
 
Individual tickets for all 2014-2015 home games are on sale through TsongasCenter.com, at the Tsongas Center Box Office or by calling 866-722-8780.
 
River Hawk Homecoming will feature a pair of non-conference tilts against Michigan and Michigan State on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, respectively. Both games start at 7:00p.m.
 
On Saturday, November 1, UMass Lowell will debut its Hockey East Championship Bobble Trophy, featuring former captain Josh Holmstrom '14. The giveaway is sponsored by xfinity.
 
The team's annual Military Appreciation Night will take place on Friday, November 7. The evening will feature a variety of activities to recognize those who have served and continue to serve our country. Fans can donate tickets to military members and their families by visiting goriverhawks.com/militaryappreciation. In addition, the action on the ice will be streamed live to the USO Center in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
 
Second half highlights include Pink at the Rink on Friday, January 23 against Providence and the annual Star Wars Night on Saturday, February 28 as Vermont visits Lowell.
