UMass Lowell baseball is raffling off a signed Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins jersey, complete with certificate of authenticity, to help fund a baseball scholarship in Adam Keenan's name.
The raffle tickets, which cost $50 each and are limited to 100 total, can be purchased at the next three UMass Lowell home hockey games: Feb. 10 vs. Merrimack, Feb. 11 vs. Maine and Feb. 17 vs. Boston University. The tickets will be located at the information table on the concourse behind section 101.
Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase via phone by contacting head coach Ken Harring at (978) 934-2344. Cash or credit cards will be accepted.
Keenan tragically passed this past summer after completing his sophomore season with the River Hawks due to Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC). He was just 20 years old.
"This scholarship will help keep Adam's name and what he personified alive for years to come," said Harring. "The ultimate team member, Keenan will be remembered for his work ethic and team-first attitude."
Once the 100 tickets have been sold, a winner will be drawn following the first game of the River Hawks' double-header against Franklin Pierce on Mar. 31 at LeLacheur Park.
