UML led 57-49 with 11:33 left to play and broke the game open with a 15-7 spurt – led by seven points from Gore – to post a 72-56 cushion with 5:24 left to play.

The River Hawks never let Saint Michael’s with 13 points the rest of the way and converted 9 of 10 free throws over the final 2:30 to preserve the win.

UML led at the half 42-29.
