EAST STROUDSBURG, PA (Oct. 12, 2007) – Freshman OH Jillian Hadder (Yucaipa, CA) posted 10 kills as UMass Lowell suffered a 3-0 loss to Georgian Court University Friday night at the East Stroudsburg Invitational.

Game scores were 21-30, 18-30, 28-30.

The loss halted a three-match win skein for the River Hawks, who slipped to 9-14 entering tomorrow’s doubleheader. UML meets Augusta State at 10:00 and Kutztown State at 2:00.

Senior OH Kristina Martell (Chelmsford, MA) served a career-high seven aces leading to 10 points while sophomore L Allie Eide (Gresham, OR) led the defense with 15 digs.

Georgian Court improved to 17-5.
