Senior Terry Young (Mansfield, MA) and sophomore Jacqui Barrett (Woburn, MA) were named the track and field athletes of the week while Jenna Lapachinski (Turners Falls, MA) was named the freshman athlete of the week, the Northeast-10 Conference announced Monday.
Johan Rafael (Lawrence, MA) and Lauren Raimondi (East Longmeadow, MA) were named freshman athletes of the week while sophomore Jacqui Barrett (Woburn, MA) was named the field athlete of the week as the Northeast-10 Conference announced it weekly award winners Monday.
Sophomore Haley Catarius (Marshfield, MA) and freshman Bethany Staiti (Barre, MA) each earned athlete of the week honors from the NE-10 Conference Monday.
When his third daughter was born, Joe Brice visualized a track and field athlete at the collegiate level, focusing her attention on throwing.  Eighteen years later, Patricia Brice is following through, with a twist.

Three of the greatest athletes in UML's history – Jon Cahill (’01), Jill (Croft) Paige (’02) and Brandon Curran (’03) – will be inducted into the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame Tuesday, May 13.
The sport of track and field is a passion for the Brice family and freshman Chelmsford native Patricia Brice is working hard to uphold the family name in the record books at UMass Lowell.
