Gary Hunt '69
(Basketball)
(1982) - Gary Hunt was an outstanding basketball player for
Lowell State College (1965-69). Although he ranks as the
14th best career scorer (687 points) in LSC hoop history, Hunt's
contributions were really noted for his playmaking ability and
leadership from his guard position. In his sophomore year,
he was named the MVP in the Lowell Christmas Tourney while in
his senior year, he ranked second in the New England State
College Conference in free throw percentage. Hunt also won
varsity letters in baseball (shortstop-pitcher) and golf during
his four years at LSC.
